Holland flowery, bucolic and cultural

tour Details

Head to Holland to discover a paradise of colors where creativity and harmony flourish according to the gardens and flower markets.

Discover Amsterdam, known for its artistic heritage, elaborate canal system and narrow houses with gabled facades, legacies of the city’s 17th-century Golden Age. Its Museum District houses the Van Gogh Museum, works by Rembrandt and Vermeer at the Rijksmuseum, and modern art at the Stedelijk.

You will love its original windmills of the Zaanse Schans region and the picturesque fishing village of Volendam.

Sample Itinerary

Arrival at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. Your private driver will welcome you and escort you to your hotel and assist you for the check in.

Enjoy a guided tour of the capital to start this day: the city is built on the banks of the Ij and the Amstel, on nearly a hundred islands of sand connected by a thousand bridges.

Free time in the floating flower market installed since 1862 on one of the oldest canals in Amsterdam. There is an incredible choice: tulips and bulb plants of all kinds, dwarf cypresses, rare exotic plants from Easter Island for example. Lunch at leisure.

We believe Amsterdam is meant to be viewed from the water and we’re constantly amazed at how good it looks. You join your passionate local  guide for a two hour cruise in a historical saloon boat and see Amsterdam from a unique vantage point.

Your route carries you through the world-famous canal belt, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, giving the best possible view of 17th-century architecture and quaint bridges. The small size of your boat allows you to wind easily through Amsterdam’s network of waterways and avoid the traffic.

This morning, we invite you to fill your taste buds with the flavors of the international cuisineAmsterdam gastronomy has its specialties but it is also very important to learn about the identity of the city and its diversity through the melting pot of its food. You meet with your culinary expert for your unique food tour experience.

Hungry for a food adventure through the lovely little urban village of De Pijp? Originally a poor workers’ neighborhood, De Pijp has now become very popular and gentrified. Today it has inhabitants from all over the world and from all walks of life. The renowned Albert Cuyp Market and its surrounding ‘gezellige’ side streets can be considered the soul of this neighborhood.

During your experience through De Pijp you combine the traditional Dutch dishes (herring, stroopwafels, kroketen) as well as the melting pot of different ethnic flavors of Amsterdam. Whether it’s Dutch, Indonesian, Surinamese… Sometimes surprising – but never disappointing…
